Lumentum posted three analog IC design jobs today. All San Jose. All the same day.
In March, Nvidia invested $2 billion into Lumentum tied to a multibillion dollar purchase commitment for co-packaged optics and AI data center laser components. Lumentum then acquired a 240,000 sq. fab in Greensboro, North Carolina from Qorvo, and Nvidia as the anchor customer. The CEO has said publicly they are under shipping the market by 25-30% and Q2 revenue hit $665 million, up 85% year over year. They are targeting $2 billion per quarter.
